Stonehaven Open Air Swimming Pool
Stonehaven Open Air Pool is operated by a partnership between Aberdeenshire Council and the Friends of the Pool, a community organisation formed to ensure the Pool was not closed and lost, like so many others.
The pool is Olympic-sized (50m/55yards x 18m/20 yards) and contains heated filtered sea water (28°C 82°F). It is within a stunning, colourful restored Art Deco Listed building, and offers the following:
Safe, healthy swimming in buoyant salt water
Kids' fun, quiet swim, lane swimming and floodlit midnight swim sessions
Sheltered sun terraces & sun awnings
A new paddling pool - safe splashy fun for our youngest "swimmers"
Water chute and kids’ slide
Access ramps, changing facilities and Pool access hoist for disabled swimmers
On-site café
Free parking
A real Lido experience!
